Of course, I'd hope that she isn't just realizing that this is happening because there's been like 200 of them and I'm pretty sure all of them have been translated and spread all over the internet. It's just that none of her messages have ever been as serious as the Tomoya/half-deaf situations. Or at least that I'm aware of. Seeing as I'm a new-gen fan (2004) of Ayu's I probably wouldn't know.

In 2003, she had to resolve some comments about how Ayu was making "disabled" fans stand up, when she actually was telling her friends who were in the front row to get up during a concert D:

嫌ってほど (iya tte hodo) is a colloquial form of 嫌というほど (iya to iu hodo), and its meaning is "too well". So I think it's better to change the line like this.

I mean I understand it well enough to dislike it.

Maybe you misunderstood me a little. I don't think ayu was naive or faking to her fans. I mentioned that her views on this matter was that she most likely was aware, but was "wishing" it wouldn't happen, even though she knew it would. She'd prefer if things could remain in private, even though it's impossible. On the last sentence, I was talking about things I don't believe she really did: I don't think she was pretending to be naive about that problem, because if it actually did happen, it would be something really bad because she would be faking it, which I believe she isn't.

well...i think that before the full translation was made guessed that some ppl made assumption based on the short translation that Ayu was seemed being naive of not wanting her message of her deafness to be known by media..

so pls rre-read the full translation that has been posted on the 1st page..
