AYU make up..

what do u think bout ayu make up lately guys..
imo..her make up is kinda heavy n gaudy..there're too much shading on it..n i think it makes her to be older..n look like an aunty..
i guess her make up start to change since secret era..
I prefer ayu make up in 03-05 era..it was looked great on her..n if i'm not wrong her make up artist replace by some one who looks super skinny with a weird exprsion lol..
that just my opìnion..

i think her major change of make up is her eye.Her eye didn't look that round and big anymore.It's 'longer' and smaller ,IMO.

i agree!! during a-nation 09, her eyes were so black n round.. i like it! makes her look like a innocent girl!

personally i don't like her recent make up..

yeah, the emphasis isn't on her eyes anymore, but more on her entire face/complexion.

Yes I agree with OP and people commenting after. Her eyes are strange recently... I don't like the look. She got a new makeup artist... youngish guy with facial hair. I guess he's doing what's "in" for Ayu. She got those big circle lens, an extreme amount of black liner on the top and bottom water line... and it kinda closes her eyes. I liked before where she had the winged liner and lined only halfway on her bottom lid. Her eyes liked much more open. Plus! She doesn't use eyelid glue anymore or something, because her upper crease is missing. (she used to have two-three lines on her eyes during her younger days). Now her eyelid just kinda rests on her eyelashes...

Recently, Ayu was featured on a MUSIC STATION ranking of male and female artists who appeared on M-Ste the most times and placed 2nd (she'll be 1st in a few singles' time) to an older singer from the 80s/90s.

Near the end, they basically play a bunch of clips and you can somewhat see a change in the way her makeup is done as the years fly by in a few seconds. As far as I can tell, she's just gotten more glamorous as the years have gone by, haha.

n still..i love her make up in rainbow-my story era...m[u] era also great but since secret her make up is kinda annoying for me..lol...

hmm personally, i don't think her make up makes her look old..
i still think her make up is fine for her..specially in the recent photoshoots, she looks younger and younger for me~

Performance #62 stands out as the most "different"... was it a performance of evolution for A BEST 2? I believe so...

I highly doubt that Ayu is the one doing her makeup when on stage/working, haha. It doesn't really matter if she's lazy or not, since someone else has to apply the makeup, just like how she has a team of 7-8 people help her get dressed during tours in two minutes or less.

omg I love her make-up so much recently! Especially in the BALLAD PV and recent photo shoots and lives! Even when they made her lips look bigger in january bea's up, it looked gorgeous!

yes...when it goes to pv ayu make up is so great but when it comes to live performance just like tv performance n ayu's tour i think the make up is kinda....hmmm idunt like it....

I'm not 100% sure, but I think just about EVERY calendar shoot Ayu has, no matter the photographer, she ends up looking a little off in some of the images. 2005's calendar was probably the least "off" when it came to Ayu's face. But most of the others all have alternate-universe!Ayus. ESPECIALLY the ones after 2007. ND CHOW's last work with Ayu didn't seem to go over too well with people with the 2008 calendar, and Kazuyoshi's two calendars... uh...

i guess its the eyeliner(is that eyeliner?not pro in makeup.i don't know what's that call >.<)
the white colour line at the bottom of her eye there

from this magazine shooting

makes the difference?and also the fake eyelash affected the eye shape?
and also,i realize that her eye part make up isn't as heavy as what she did previously.this is why her make up look different?
