"Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D," a full-CG animated feature, along with live-action horror film "Sadako 3D" and 10 other works were honored at the recent International 3D Awards Lumiere Japan.

The awards ceremony organized by the Japan Committee of the International 3D Society (I3DS) was held Oct. 25 at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) in Tokyo's Odaiba waterfront area.

The I3DS Japan Committee was established in 2011 to promote content using stereoscopic 3-D technology.

The Lumiere awards were also launched last year to recognize outstanding visual works in film, television, advertising and other categories.

"Tekken: Blood Vengeance 3D" won the award in the animated feature category. Last year, the award went to "Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society 3D."

"Sadako 3D," which was spawned from "The Ring" series, and a feature film adaptation of the "Kaibutsu-kun" live-action monster comedy TV series, also won awards.

Other winners in the category include "Welcome Home, Hayabusa," about the return of Japan's unmanned space probe, "Always--Sunset on Third Street '64," and a documentary on pop singer Ayumi Hamasaki.

The top Grand Prix award went to a TV documentary featuring animal photographer Yukihiro Fukuda and his efforts to capture images of wild Japanese macaques.

The "technical" term for a concert movie is "documentary" because it's documenting a real-life, non-fictional event. It's not WRONG, it's just not what the writer would have said if he'd seen it.

Which reminds me - we never got the TV broadcast, did we? Or didn't that happen yet?
I remember we got the A3D TV broadcast of NEXT LEVEL.
(Also, no Bluray announced yet...this is starting to get tiresome, the concert was recorded over 2 years ago...I don't even care for the 3D, I just want the alternate camera angles(alternate date?))

A3D II's WOWOW broadcast happened about a month ago? I think it was ripped and Chinese fans have it.

Also, the alternate angles are mostly during the introduction and Microphone/Last angel IIRC with more wide shots. I really liked the angles chosen.

I wish somebody would share it with western fans I hate how Chinese fans tend to seal everything they have off from everybody that isn't Chinese(or at least speaks fluent Chinese) - you don't see that happening in any other local fanbase afaik. Even Russian torrent trackers are often designed to be understood by foreigners and they are already notorious for hoarding files.

Perhaps they meant documentary of that concert? Guess they have their own definition of documentary?
