seriously, when i was looking back at what i posted in this thread... the things i wrote ain't even offensive or in anyway bashing?!?!

hope ayumi finds a way to resume hearing from her left ear, there's a way to do that and i don't think it should be a excuse for any bad-standard performance in the future ...even ayumi said it herself, 'she is a professional singer and will not give excuses for her future performances' and i'll take that words and i want to see better performances from the future so i can buy a DVD from her

That's a pretty extreme example. I think what the other posters are trying to express is that Ayu's career has become an integral part of her life and perhaps that's something she is unwilling to give up or even take a break from despite health issues. We all know she's a workaholic but at the same time I think this hearing situation was a big wake up call and from now on she will take better care of herself. I think a lot of people would prefer that she focuses on her health and take a break but in reality she has said she's going to continue working so really there's nothing to do other than support her decision and hope that she'll pay more attention to her health.

UHPlus, theres nothing wrong with your suggestions, just sometimes you word your posts really poorly dude. im just looking at them at a neutral party perspective, sometimes your idea that she should take a break looks more like your personal demand, and that your idea is the only idea thats right. the only person who knows whats right or wrong for ayu is only ayu herself.

i think you should be a bit more careful when you word your posts. just a suggestion though! your antagonists like truehappiness are overreacting too, its jus some advice in case you want to try avoiding this forum drama in the future

I wonder if performing concerts hurts her ears because they are so loud? I know the artists wear ear monitors, but that can't block out ALL the noise. Concerts are SO LOUD that I bet it really hurts your ears after a while.

Yes thank you. It's really like how some people risk their life or health for their career but do it because they love it and I guess no one can stop them to follow their own dreams. I don't know but for me happiness is about the most important thing in life. People like these seem to give more passion and energy more than anyone else because they want to live life to the fullest.

And I also now that sometimes, support can come in some harsh words like what UHPlus did (tough love), but the problem is, UHPlus words is SO much close to bashing, tho' he might not realize that since he said He was no basher.

Reading this.. it makes me feel as if it could really be Meniere's.. o_o I dunno, since she just turned 22 in 2000..

Just about everything that's happened to her health-wise fits the diagnosis. o_o

She's fallen at least once every so often during concert rehearsals.. [to my knowledge.. and not by "tripping" or anything either] I remember AT06 had some sort of injury, and AT07 did as well..

Her behaviour during the AT05 [or was it AT06] makings with the weird falling over.. kinda concerned me as well. There was a segment that poked fun at "stumbling" and it seemed as if Ayu would move her head to the left, and then almost fall over.. I have GIFs.

Attacks of vertigo can become worse and more frequent over time, resulting in loss of employment, loss of the ability to drive, and inability to travel. Some patients become largely housebound.
