Yep I considered that point. In the end, you have to start from somewhere, regardless of how it happens. If not, how are musicians born? Even if it were true, it's not like he "held her hand" the whole way. I would think of it as a push in the right direction.

^It's basically her exact look for the Whatever tv promotions. Which was released only a few weeks after her debut album, so it fits within the timeline of this photo supposedly coming from a celebration party for her first albums success.

I feel as though it's one of those "Hey, we're not really kissing, but it looks like we are" photos that some people take when they're at parties, haha. I wonder who leaked the photograph though. They must not be doing well in this economy or something.. oi.

^It had to have been either an employee of Avex or Friday. Friday never actually published this article, and I think as long as they don't, the damage to Ayu will be pretty minimal.(if anything, cause this isn't exactly 'new') If Friday does one day actually publish everything they supposedly have, then expect a hailstorm.

Prominent in Japan for some time now (where is the proof?)? Wow, is Ayu really that popular that the general public is still talking about what she might've done 10 years ago? Funny how until now people haven't mentioned it

Well, I guess some simply live for making a big deal out of everything that's negative when it comes to Ayu. But don't worry, this will affect her as much as the ViVi book promo incident did. If things like this actually had an affect on her career I think she'd be long gone by now.

Sunshine Slayer is very right. It is a really big deal, and the rumor isn't exactly a small one. There is some evidence for it, and it's not entirely preposterous, like the rumors she has stds or something.

@to whoever said that in the West sleeping with your boss isn't a big deal: That's not true at all. It is a big deal here, as I believe it is anywhere. I mean, what if it got out that say, Simon Cowell was sleeping with the contestant who won American Idol. I would imagine that would not look very good for either of them.

Especially if say, Simon defended the contestant and perhaps threatened to leave or something if she was voted off.

It's all very interesting. Let's hope there are no more pictures.

They wanna give the impression that her rise to fame is THROUGH seducing Max... Hence, they use a photo 11 years ago which couldn't even prove anything... This is stupid, I bet they are searching furiously for some bed photos which they cannt find... LOL

While it would be a big deal.. I kind of don't see their relationship as getting "intimate" like that. Seems like Max is just kind of the father she never had, perhaps? I dunno.

I only said there was no real proof that the general public in Japan is even discussing this right now. And I am not going to take what SunshineSlayer said for granted. For all we know she was prolly kissing him on his cheek in that photo as his mouth would have to be on the very far right + even if she french kissed him, they might've been dead drunk. Considering none of us knows what actually happened there is no need to judge her nor her career, but then again some people simply can't wait for something like this to happen, so they could poop all over Ayu's head.

It's kind of sad how a lot of fans fell out of love for Ayu based on assumptions.. oi. The surgery things, these scandals, etc. etc... no one really knows the truth, but based on the gossip and so on, people accept it as such when really, it's just speculation.

Well, I'd have to say that overseas fans seem to be a lot more optimistic, but I guess with all the people saying: "Hey, did you know that I heard that she.." in Japan.. it makes sense that people would be like that. A lot of the Koreans I know seem to somehow ~know~ that she's 'plastic' even though they don't really even know who she is. I guess her image just screams "PERFECTION" and that's how people rationalize it in their heads. I just chalk it up to editing and a superb makeup team, haha.
