So... For some odd reason Ayu fans believe compilation albums should be made of original content... Funny...

I was under the impression that she's doing the summer version of A BALLADS, hence I expected remixes or rearrangements, but nnnoooo that would be too generous from mighty ayumex hamasatrax.

Oh well, she's released something and everyone was complaining that she should to keep relevant. (Because somehow an original album earlier this year wasn't enough anyway. )

The tracklist isn't as great as rumoured, but there's a nice number of lives on there. If I had the money, I'd be tempted.

I think this album is great if you need an official mix CD of her summery tracks. It'd be a go-to every summer IMO!

this would of been nice, but no it didn't happen.

I really dont see where all this stuff comes from.
I cant think of very many artist that give you lots of new things when they do a best album.
We get the DVD with lots of good stuff... although some of it has been seen before.
And we get TWo new tracks.

Yep, believing in quality releases...it's so ridiculous


I knew it was just a best though. If it had new arrangements, they would have said it was a remix album. Even A BALLADS was marketed that way, wasnt it?

Ugh so disappointed with the DVD tracklist. Wtf is up with monochrome??? Far away got a full length track but not monochrome?? So sad...

Yeap, A Ballads is considered a remix album... That's why it's filled with remixes... =)

On the same way, ASB is a compilation, and it is filled with old tracks... as compilations usually tend to be.

I dont like how avex keeps throwing out her old PV's not long after her Complete PV collection. With how much that cost they should be a little less to jump to her old PV's. We already have moon on multiple dvds. It would of been more special if they made the dvd like a best of her ayu ready? performances. Otherwise nothing to exiting or at least some type of first press thing

I love compilation albums. It saves me several taps and scrolls on my music player. (Joking! I like the packaging. That's all.)

Boring DVD track list.... This is avex lamest marketing strategy....I'm very disappointed, don't think I'll get the JP press brand new this time. Will just hunt for a second hand version.

I saw an interview of her explaining why she had to release her first BEST and she didn't want to. Finally she said something like: "It was hard to understand that it is not only me, I'm part of a group, I'm part of a company, and sometimes I have to do things that I don't want to, but are good for the company."

Soooo... IMO she would have re-recorder the songs and selected new stuff.... BUT, it's easier to get the one that is finished and sell it once again.

However, I think it's good for people that don't have all these songs and they like them. Not everybody buys everything. I have A Complete all Singles and I'm NOT going to buy her singles.... so for me it was a good release! XD

To me, it just seems like Ayu doesn't really have to proove herself anymore, or at least that seems to be what she thinks. That's why there isn't so much promotion and what not...

She was really big for a while, she was everywhere, she made it really big. Now she's just enjoying making her own music and having fun.
