According to Namie's official website, she is holding a concert at Tokyo Dome for her "namie amuro 5大ドーム TOUR ～20th Anniversary Best～" on the date of this show so I don't think she'll be in attendance.

She only sold a total of ~50 millions of her releases, but I don't know if it counts the worldwide sales, or only in Japan.

That's only Japanese sales and only physical sales. 60-70 million seems like a good estimate for total sales(including digital)

The entire thing is weird. They say their awards are based on sales, yet they let fans vote and the nominees aren't even the best sellers...

Her album Loose did really well in the UK, remember Maneater, Promiscous, All Good Things (Come To An End) and Say It Right? She released more singles from the album too (I think) but those 4 did really well on the charts/sales-wise
