^ Iirc 06/30 has something to do with her father? I swear we had a talk about July 1st somewhere here before... And for 10/25 it's either the date globe's Keiko was hospitalized, or the death date of her best friend. Somebody please confirm this, I can't really remember much.

Yes I remember reading that discussion. She never confirmed the meaning of the days officially, but someone made an assumption that June 30 is the day her father died. Hence the "the tears shed yesterday turn into kindness" line.

But some people didn't think that was the case.

I saved the post from that thread talking with more details about why the person thought June 30 is the day Ayu's father died, but I won't be able to use my laptop until the end of the month =/

if 0630 is really the day her father past away, i wonder is it hard for her to perform July 1st even tho her father wasn't part of her life that much :/ but he was her father after all, even if she hasn't met him in a long time, it must be hard to know that her own father is no longer alive

Well, I also heard that July 1st is completely unrelated to her father's death and this date is important to her because she gathered with her friends and partied with them every year on that day, or something along those lines

Page about 0630 and July 1st. This one connects the theory of 0630 being the day that her parents split up to July 1st, which Ayu has previously explained by Ayu as a special day after 06/30 that she spends with friends.

　The sensitiveness of her heart to feel the human warmth in a commonplace sentence. Maybe the photo and the sentence remained in her memory then, and revived when she was going to make "July 1st", a song of friendship. When the two things which apparently have no relation but are substantially close link together, a poem is born. This is what many poets have related as their own experience of making poems, though she doesn't know it maybe. Her poetic quality is seen well here, too. It can be said that "July 1st" is the type of song she made for the first time as well as "independent." As she herself described it suitably as "though the lyrics are bright, there are some minor parts in the melody, but never lacking in released feelings", I think it's a beautiful song with a thread of sadness in the brightness.

I have a feeling Ayu had a bit of a double meaning to July 1st though. Or it was just sort of a coverup for the real inspiration behind July 1st.

This line seems to add to the 06/30 connection:

The pain with the tears shed yesterday are changing
Into tenderness

We don't know the exact truth but we do know that the song was/is very important to her to the point that she didn't print the Memorial address lyrics for a while.

just watched some of her music videos and holy crap i have forgotten how awesome Mirrorcle World really is! the song, the video, her look OMG i'm dying over for fabulousness! it looked like if it'd be released in 2016, it'd still be fresh and cool it use to be my jam, i remember the lyrics even now! watched CdM Tour after that and her current voice don't fit to it anymore tho. i didn't hear the same feeling and strongness in her voice that she use to have when she performed it

other video i watched was appears she looks amazing! and in the scenes she is sitting on that sofa, her face looks like her face in 2015-2016 which is really cool! only difference i see is her teeth
