Also, I just had a thought! My memory's a little fuzzy, so people who are experts in theater and such help me out. Is there some kind of theater genre called a ballad? I was thinking, if there is one... Maybe the reason BALLAD has it's name and the PV is to be super dramatic is because it's of the ballad genre? Or am I way off base?.... I probably am xD;

yes i agree,if it was Nagase i'm surely crying watching this PV,it's going to be soo sad and he's hotter than Shuya

i think that's why Ayu think Shuya is suitable for the role, with his overdramatic expression

i wonder about one thing, is the scene is going to be the present day or maybe around 70's or 80's..i dun know cos it more fit with the song

in the preview i can see that Ayu told him to cry dramatically on the ground

how i wish that Ayu could replace him with Maro or maybe someone hotter! so that the PV will be very EPIC,not watching Shuya again,well, everyone has watched his dramatic cries for many times *sigh*

seems like it's a combination of Fated + voyage + part of me..i love it! (except for Shuya )

I have watched BALLAD PV and I have to say that I LOVE IT !!!

I can't wait for this single! I don't like "You were..." that much because it sounds generic and like a boring Mix of all her sad Winter Ballads. But "BALLAD" is a georgous song and I love the mix of epic singing and the traditional asian Instruments, it sounds like a fusion between "GREEN" and "Part Of Me"!
The Covers are alright. Nothing special, but they are way better than the "Sunrise / Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~"-Covers . The basic idea of the "You Were..."-PV is very cool. I like the whole Image with the weird couple, the hand puppet, the Trees made of Paper (I don't know how to descrice it in a better way, I think you'll get what I mean) and the dress made of a chain of lights - But the assembly is very dissapointing.
The weird couple looks like dancers from Lady Gaga . They are way TOO futuristic and ruin the beautiful atmosphere, even though I like the scene with the shining stone.
The idea of the hand puppet is very cute and creative, but you can only see the puppet during the opening of the PV. I have the sense that they just used the puppet as a filler for the opening Blank stare.
The "BALLAD"-PV is better. The Background-Story is very touching and Shu Ya is a great actor. Even though I hate Ayu's pink dress, the scenery is very beautiful .
