And, sorry for my consecutive post.
May I be picky because they're Ayu's comments about her works? Here are some of my suggestions: --- When did you first come out with the whole concept for this album? The word "NEXT LEVEL" by itself was in my mind (*1) since quite an early time (*2), but I kept thinking ... *1: ayu just said "あった" which means the the word itself "was." *2: "早い段階" means "early stage" but i think "early time" is better here. --- Looking at Ayu's blog, there were some pictures of you clutching at your head during recordings? Because I played around and tried new things (*3) more than ever, there were too many choices, like what level of uplifting feeling (*4) I should show and which vocal style I should use. And there were also times when ... *3: "かつてないほど遊ん"だ means she played around more than ever, and it means more experimental trials than ever. *4: "テンション" is a katakana word for tension, but "テンション" doesn't always mean stressful atmosphere. --- But having many choices for your performance (*5) is great too, isn't it? No, I wasn't calm enough to feel in that way. I was just like a monk doing SHUGYO (*6). *5: "引き出し" is drawer but here it means ability to draw something out from yourself. *6: "修行"(pronunciation:SHUGYO) is a physical/mental training. I wanted to use SHUGYO because it's in the title of the song. --- With all this excitement, the tour, starting in April, is surely higly anticipated. I told to everyone "Don't be defensive at all, and do break (*7) my expectations over and over." *7: "裏切る" is betray, dissapoint, etc but ayu uses this expression in a good way here, which means Ayu cheered up her tour staff to show greater outcomes than what is usually expected. (haha, this comment of Ayu reminds me of a part of Sparkle lyrics.) well... that's all i can write now. I wish I were one tenth as quick as Misa-chan. Sorry for my strange engrish and long post m(_ _)m

^ lol wow thanks for taking the time to look through and suggest edits.
i don't get the little turns of phrases and stuff that she uses sometimes, so it's very helpful when a real Japanese can explain things. will fix the scans!! ^^

^ just out of curiosity, but Misa-chan are you studying Japanese? (since you mention you're not a 'real' Japanese) 'Cause I am too and since you're so good imo I was wondering how long you've been studying it (if you're studying Japanese xD)

Thank you Misa! You're the best!!!!
![]() I love how ayu is describing the album! Her NEXT LEVEL is very interesting. Too bad not many enjoyed this work, although it's my favorite album. Lol I always laugh why ppl hate Kazu so much. I'm not a fan of his work, but I certainly don't let it affect my love for her music.

I still can't really do songs though, I get the general meaning but I still need to write down what I hear to fully appreciate the whole meaning. Reading is lots easier because I do know Chinese, so I can understand the meaning of words written in kanji, even if I haven't learnt it in Japanese yet. ^^

Yes! In fact, the songs that he has directed are some of Ayu's most epic songs in terms of the atmosphere of the song. MW is just a song that is unique and representative. GREEN is a good throwback to the oriental days and I love the instruments. Sparkle is, needless to say, much welcomed in today's electro era...and also a step up from Ayu's own form of electro back in early 2000s
